A fiber-optic amenity company Connexion Technologies in partnership with the University of North Florida (UNF) in Jacksonville will provide entertainment and communications services to The Flats at Kernan, a luxury student housing development adjacent to the university. Connexion will build an FTTH network throughout the community in order to provide the service.
The Flats at Kernan, which is located across the street from the UNF is a 192-unit, 480-bedroom, luxury student housing community catering to the students of UNF and nearby Florida Community College. The property includes two- and three-bedroom suites, each complete with Whirlpool appliances, washer, and dryer, covered balcony, and storage area as well as a private bathroom in each bedroom.
In another development, Belvedere Neighborhood, a multi-use development located in Charlottesville, VA, has entered into a partnership with fiber-optic amenity company Connexion Technologies to bring a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network throughout the community.
