We have been chosen in Hamilton and Auckland to assist with the largest Telecommunications infrastructure project across the Tasman with the Fibre to Home (FTH) project and Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB).

We are also the primary contractor for several New Zealand leading companies like Visionstream, UCG and Transfield and many others.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage fibre optic project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope to meet milestones and timelines.

Strategies, Develop and update project plans for fibre optic projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.

Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.

Schedule tech teams and assign resources accordingly

Prioritisation and task coordination
Confer with techs to identify and resolve problems.

Develop and manage work breakdown structure of fibre Optic projects.

Look after day to day operations of the MDU & SDU fibre optic departments.
Handle all the issues and problem related to fibre optic department and provide weekly and monthly report to management.

Build relationships with customers & field staff

Maintain Health & Safety Standards
Maintaining report on Fleet efficiency

For this role you will need following experience, knowledge and attributes:

Experience ideally in fibre optic networks
Information technology and Management qualification or experience will be beneficial
Ability to effectively manage technical teams

Experience of operations, logistic, resources, provisioning, needs in line with budgets including forecasting & budgeting to maximise return on investment.

Knowledge of fibre network, Single dwelling units, Multi dwelling units and fibre built network

Experience working in a fast paced, constantly expanding and changing environment

Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity, high attention to detail

Ability to use technical terms to communicate verbally and in writing
Good organization, multi-tasking, time management and documentation skills
Skill with MS Office (word, Excel, etc.) and solid works a plus
